Railroad ads, lots of ads for newly published books, news of Yellow Fever in Mexico, news from Texas and from Taylor's army (remember this was the year before the Mexican-American War). A wonderful ad: Five hundred dollar reward to the person who can prove that Jules Hauels Vegetable liquid Hair Dye is not �the best the very best known in this country or in Europe.� To be sold at private sale, the girl Juliet, a fine seamstress and ladies' maid with her two children, a boy 6 and a girl 5...will be sold only to a city residence.� This is a four page paper with some separation at center fold, but in otherwise very good condition.
