Lander; the late Captain Mendill; general map of Virginia showing the Army of the Potomac’s field of operation (full page); Memphis, TN before the war (full page); sketches of Savannah, GA; seven sketches depicting the Burnside Expedition; ¼ page map showing the Mississippi River from Cairo to Memphis. Stories accompany all illustrations. The paper is complete (16 pages) and in generally good condition with some age discoloration. There is a full complement of period advertisements and one large political cartoon on the last page.
