Dated Vaughan Station, June 30th 1863, this is a receipt for the deposit of $50.44 on freight account and $50.00 on passenger account in bank notes and vouchers in the account of B. F. Williams, Agent. It is a pre-printed form completed in black ink. The receipt measures 3_" x 8_" and is in very fine condition. There is some discoloration at the top that looks like it might be an ink stain. Rail road documents of this period are extremely collectible. Vaughan Station is where around 1900 Casey Jones died in the famous train wreck. This is a very rare document.
