The  regulation hunting horn, with the surface texture embossed to simulate embroidery, this one is known as the "false embroidered" pattern generally issued to officers. It is 2½" wide and has the appearance of three tassels hanging from the upper turn of the horn. We seldom come across these, and this particular specimen is in extremely fine condition.
