This is a handsome 1�_" diameter rosette with an olive-branch design around the rim and a handsome eagle with up-raised wings in the center. There is no lead-fill in the back and there is one, coiled hook. These were worn on horse bridles, especially during formal dress occasions like parades. The face is bright and in excellent condition.
