This is a pair of period, wire-framed glasses with oval lenses tinted a light, sky blue. Blue lenses were thought to aid in the cure of heart disease and blood disorders and were prescribed for patients suffering from such afflictions. I've only seen a few of these (mostly in medical museum collections) and they will certainly make an interesting addition to a period medical display. They are in excellent condition - just a little bit of rust on the wire rims and arms from normal aging.
