Made of brass with steel struts, these scales were used to weigh various medicines. The were suspended with three pieces of cord on each disk and there are four balance weights in the set. They are encased in an oval tin case, with a blue interior and a japanned tin external finish. These have been in the Coleman collection since 1982. They are identical to the set pictured in Damman p. 69.
