This is one of the finest microscopes we have ever owned. Made of brass, it stands 9" tall un-extended (11" fully opened) and measures 3�_" in diameter at the base, 1" at the top. It has two mirror bases & comes in a rich oak case, complete with twelve slides, a couple with stains. The brass hinges on the case are intact and functional. This is a truly exquisite instrument and will certainly enhance any period medical display.
