Dated 28 September 1861 and prepared at Camp Beaton, this one-page invoice is handwritten on lined, blue paper.Captain Folsom, Acting QM under General E. Landes, acknowledges receipt of 1684 lbs of fresh beef, 1500 lbs hard bread, 340 lbs sugar, plus potatoes, vegetables and rice. The document bears Folsom’s signature and is in excellent condition.
